Since March of 2008, the Administrative Code of the City of New York made "lawful source of income" a protected class under the NYC Human Rights Law. Unfortunately, many real estate agents throughout the City of New York continue to respond incorrectly when asked the question: "Do you take Section 8 (government) vouchers?"
